BSOD without reason on a new computer - files zipped

I recently built my own computer and since I got it up and running, my computer has been blue screening without any reason that I can find. It never BSOD's during the same thing. Sometimes I'll be playing a game, other times just browsing the internet, and once while watching a movie.

If anyone could offer me some assistance with this- I'd rather not have to wipe the computer and start over, since I just got it fully situated and functioning. Well, functioning for the most part, minus the BSOD.

That's odd. I ran the one that comes with Windows [since I was having problems running Memtest and getting it onto a disk I could run it from.] I'll do what I can and let you know.

I ran the memory test that comes with W7 3 times, and each time when the computer started up, I didn't get any kind of 'report' like it said I would.

EDIT: I've followed the instructions, however I can't get it to boot from my USB, despite setting the boot order to 'SanDisk'.

Sorry, it's an ASUS F1A55-M LX PLUS.

From what I can tell on the back of the box, it SHOULD support USB booting. "ASUS EZ Flash 2"

File size of zipped password protected files larger than expected
When I compress a password protected Word or Excel file by adding to a zip or archive folder, the file size is much greater than when I add a non protected file. For example, if I compress a 5Mb Excel file, the archive (zip) file is a little less than 5Mb, with an 8% compression ratio. If I...
