New, self-built PC keeps getting BSOD at random intervals.

In your initial install of w7 did you have only one drive attached to the motherboard?
Did you make your SATA type to AHCI before starting?

Have you attached the SSD via SATA port 0 or 1?

Ran sfc /scannow and no errors came up. Windows 7 is a new copy that I bought legally. Only one SSD drive is connected to the motherboard. I connected the SSD drive to the motherboard and did not do anything to convert it to an AHCI (I wouldn't know how). The SSD is attached to SATA Port_0 at 6Gb/s.

Type start, in the search box type device manager, in device manager expand IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers. at the bottom you shoulg see a controller with AHCI in the name if you are in AHCI mode. It should look something like this.

Ah, yes, I do have that, which would mean I must be in AHCI mode? If that is true is there another mode I could switch to see if anything changes?

You could try IDE mode, but it may not boot. But, if you do that, you won't get the same performance out of your SSD. I have 7 SSDs from 4 manufacturers, and none of them have problems with AHCI. All manufacturers that I know of recommend AHCI mode.

I've been using this machine all day, everything seemed fine until I got another BSOD: Kernel_Data_Input_Error, However this time it happened instantly, there was no frozen screen, the computer simply flashed straight onto the blue screen and then a few seconds later restarted itself and didn't recognize the SSD. I restarted and everything's fine.

Using SF Diagnostics I tried to collect the Minidump files, but again it tells me there aren't any. I've attached another updated version just incase. I should have some time tomorrow to run 7 passes of Memtest. I'll run a quick dskchk and see it crashes halfway through again.

UPDATE: Still crashes, Blue Screen, no minidump. *Sigh*

Go to C:/windows/minidump and open it. It will tell you you do not have permission, do it anyway. You will have to give admin permission, if there is a folder there. Copy it and paste it onto your desktop. Right click it and select send to, then compressed (Zip) folder. in your next post, include the zip folder. There should be one there. We enabled it yesterday. On the blue screen did you get the count down at the bottom?

Dywindel, did you by any chance miss this? It may have something to do with your missing dump files, failed chkdsk scans, and the BSODs as well:

Aha, did not see that firmware update. Unfortunately, I will need another drive to do that, however, I could probably use a different version of windows to install it (I could plug in my SSD to my downstairs PC and try that). I have gone to check the minidump folder and it isn't there (In c:/Windows) even though the SystemSettingsADveanced.exe is still checked as such.

UPDATE: The SSD Company offers a memory stick version of installing the update using linux.

Yes, I believe the newer versions of Parted Magic will do it. But, it can be done with another PC, but back up your data first.
