    BSOD after factory Reinstall Page_fault_in_non_paged_area

Okay, im new here at the sevenforums. so please stay with with me lol.
my computer wouldnt start one day, (yesterday) and i eventually was led into HP's recovery application, after windows wasnt able to restore my computer.
Now, after all was said and done, i reinstalled windows 7 from im guessing a recovery partition on my HD, because my computer thaty i just bought about a week ago didnt come with discs.
After i clicked "finish" when the reinstall was done, my computer restarted.
as the windows logo was swirliing and saying something about it was saving or installing something to the registry, my comp bsod'd with the error "page_fault_in_none_paged_area. and the file name was atikmdag.sys.
    like wth?
    can someone please help me?

Also, i had JUST gotten through with the reinstall throught the HP's recovery app when this happened.
i hadnt even been able to boot my computer yet. the first time it tried to reboot after the restart form the recovery, it did this, and continues to do this
