    New PC crashes on Crysis

Hi, I have just built a new PC & appears to be running fine apart from Crysis.
This game runs smoothly at high framerate, however it crashes after about 30mins play time, first screen drops out, then sound and I have to do hard restart.

I have updated graphic & sound drivers, stress tested CPU & graphics cards and done a mem test which all show no problems.

Any ideas how I can diagnose this problem??

    Thanks :)

Have you patched Crysis with the latest updates?

At the same time, if you post your crash dumps following the https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html, it would be easier to get to the root of the crashes.

Crysis runs on steam so I assume it's up to date.
I ran the SF Diagnostic tool and it says "Sorry, no dump found", my system settings are on kernel memory dump so not sure why it's saying that. I have attached the rest of the files created by the diagnostic tool.
BTW when I get a crash there is no BSOD, screen just goes blank, then sound starts glitching.

    thanks for your help

You have to manually patch Crysis...there is 1.1, 1.2 and 1.2.1. You have to start with 1.1 first then 1.2 then 1.2.1. You can get them from here

Thanks! The Warhead patch seems to have fixed the problem, however the Crysis patch doesn't work; it comes up with the attached message!

I got the same error as well after an install. Some how the install was/has gotten corrupted. It happens. When it does...the best thing is to just un-install everything and reboot and re-install, then patch it, reboot and run the game.
