Yes I did, though that set I updated to is still pretty old. I'm considering seeing if there is a more recent version.

Try this

Click start > run

type cmd.exe

Then type "powercfg -restoredefaultschemes"

and then reboot your system...

Let me know if this works

Thats the lastest updated BIOS version on their site....

This also doesn't seem to have fixed it.
About how long do you think it should take to fall asleep? I've left it for 10-15 minutes with it just frozen on the black screen.
Interestingly though, hibernate works, just not sleep.

Assuming the BSOD didnt return..... try using other power option like the power saver ..

And do this as well ..... After selecting power save ..... go into change plan settings ... then click on "Change Advanced Power Setting" ... then click on Sleep > Allow hybrid sleep.... set both to "OFF" .. this should be off by default

One more thing.... do check the hybrid sleep for the "Balance power" option as well.....

Let me know what you see ...

Sleep shouldn't take much time compared to hibernation, which would take time to save to disk....

Ok. Hybrid sleep was off for all of them.

Also, using other settings didn't change anything.
