Windows Normal Mode Crashes to BSOD and Safe Mode doesn't load

I need some help please as I do not know where to start.

I installed a Windows Update a few days ago and then got a BSOD the next time I turned my PC on. So I did a system recovery and this seemed to work.

Now, it's happened again without me doing a Windows Update and I cannot get into safe mode.

I am really sorry but I cannot even follow the BSOD instructions to run a diagnostic tool because I literally cannot get into anything to run the diagnostics.

Can anyone offer me advice?

Thanks for quick response.

I tried following these instructions however how I am struggling working out how to run the diagnostic tool without being able to get into anything.

Additional:
I have found a thread I am trying best to follow that starts with running Windows Defender Offline. I have downloaded the file to a USB Stick but am still stuck because there is no way to download the updates.

The instructions say my USB Stick needs to have an internet connection. Am I being daft? How does a USB Stick have an Internet connection? i.e. how do I run Defender Offline or rather how do I update it without an Internet Connection?

Do you have a Seven install DVD. Not the one that comes with a new computer?

Nope sorry. I thought I had made a recovery disc but I must have foolishly not done so.

I received no OEM disc when I bought the PC.

You may have to borrow a computer, to burn the CD

I have my work laptop with Win 7 but think it is 32 bit. Would I need to find someone with a 64 bit version to do this?

OK, so to be clear (and apologies for being slow), my PC is 64 bit so I need another 64 bit machine to create a system receovery disc. I cannot use a 32 bit version?

You need the same bit, so yes.
