    BSOD error OxOOOOOOD1

    Hey all,

I've been having this BSOD issue for about 6 or 7 months. I'll just be on my computer using the internet, or playing a video game(any video game, not specific), and then my internet cuts out. I go to reboot and it BSOD's. If I'm in game, it will BSOD without trying to reboot. I've tried a lot to figure out whats going on with my machine, but nothings worked. It happens very randomly. (ie: The comp will go multiple days without a single BSOD, and sometimes it happens multiple times in a row.) I've dusted it really well, run CCleaner, run Microsoft Security Essentials(and more, just cant remember what else), and when that didn't work, I stopped trying because I didn't want to possibly make things worse. I'm not exactly that knowledgeable in computers, so try to make any explanations as "user friendly" as possible. I've attached two pictures of the BSOD screen, and the zip file from the SF Diag tool. Please help!!!

P.S. My Networking Card fried about 3 weeks after I got my computer, and I didnt think anything of it because I also had a wireless usb adapter, so I haven't taken it out. A friend of mine mentioned that could be part of the problem. I appreciate any and all feedback!!!

    It worked.

There was only one dump and it was blaming EtronXHCI.sys - Etron USB 3.0 Extensible Host Controller Driver.

    Driver Reference Table - EtronXHCI.sys

Have a look and see if you can find an updated driver for the device and see how you go.

I've just been looking at your mobo specs and found a newer driver on gigabytes page - GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1155 - GA-Z68A-D3-B3 (rev. 1.0)

So is the install really as simple as dl'ing it and pressing run after you click the finished dl? nothing else popped up, so i assume it just plugged itself right in, so to speak...?

That should of been all that's needed, just keep an eye on it and let us know if it BSOD's again.
