| | actually this time i updated the graphics card using windows update.before that i have used 12.8 latest version too..& also removed old drivers by driver sweeper & atiremover..no use..i just wanna make sure whether it is a hardware or software isuue |

| | Windows update does not update ATI .... ATI is outsider for windows. Do you mean you did it via driver update wizard? |

| | Better you get those from the manufacturer's website  But while installing, dont install the catalyst control center. |

| | There are some other things to do for Video TDR errors. It may be caused by some simple things like just accumulation of dust or overheating; or some drastic things like a faulty graphics card. Have you monitored the the system heat, and the graphics card temperature? Are those normal or high? What is the temperature just before the crash? If you are in warranty, contract your vendor. I am trying if I can contact any dell personnel. |
