    Boot Errors: 0x7E, 0xc5....

I recently put together an new computer from slightly used old parts. I got it to run only once and installed Windows 7 before problems started to occur. I fixed the original problem (Dual DIMM RAM Mismatches) and now more problems have risen. After I turn on the computer, I hit F11 and choose to boot from my DVD drive (which contains the Windows 7 recovery/ boot disk). After a few seconds, the loading bar appears toward the bottom of the screen, and the green bar scrolls by about 4 times. The screen instantly shows the bsod, but goes away instantly. I restarted the computer, pressed F8 and selected the option to not automatically restart after a crash. The blue screen popped up as usual and it says the computer may not have adequate disk space, outdated drivers, and possible BIOS updates. The error code says the following: "***STOP: 0x00000007E (0xC0000005, 0x8187061c, 0x804035FC, 0x804032F8)". I've checked to make sure everything was properly wired. I've read other threads saying to open a command prompt, but in my case the only way I can do that is to use F8 at startup. I only get the error using F11 to boot the DVD drive. Otherwise, my computer restarts itself and basically goes through an endless loop, getting me nowhere.
    -Please help, BTTFfan96

What BSOD when booting from DVD? In the "Windows is loading" step, or "windows is starting" step?

I gave it a few tries just now, but when I first did it, I didnt press any F keys. Plus, it doesnt say loading or starting. I chose the option "Start Windows Normally" and the loading bar appeared. It looks like the computer isn't loading from the disk drive, because the loading bar looks exactly like the Vista loading bar you see at startup (looks slightly pixelated and only reads "Microsoft Corporation" under it). Then the screen stays black. I've been waiting 30 minutes, and it hasnt changed. The 7 disk is in but isn't loading from it first. I've made sure it's recognized in the BIOS/ CMOS settings. I believe Vista may be on the Hard drive. Now for more investigating...

    Q1: Do you have a win 7 DVD? Yes/No
Q2: The source of your Win 7 is ______________________?
Q3: Do you have the 25 character product key? (do not post the key)

    Need three answers.

Also, I know that the faulty computer will complicate matters, but really do need better system specs.

    Update your SevenForums System Specs
User CP (located on the top menu bar) |
Your Profile | Edit System Spec
    (left-hand column)

To gather info, use Speccy (my favorite) or SIW or System Info

In the System Manufacturer Block, enter:
Ř Manufacturer and Model OR Custom build.
Ř ADD the word laptop, desktop, netbook or tablet.
    For example:
    Toshiba Satellite L305D notebook.

Provide full windows version info, for example:
    MS Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit

Use the “Other Info” block for Optical Reader,
Mouse, touchpad, wifi adapter, speakers, monitor, etc

Scroll down and click on SAVE CHANGES.

With Speccy, you can select with your mouse/touchpad info from the display
and paste that info into your specs.

SIW is a marvelous program, but the free version does not offer
    this capability.

Q1: yes, I have the disk.
Q2: What do you mean "source"?
Q3: yes. I have the key.

I believe the problem is mostly caused by faulty hardware, as I have ran into (and fixed) several problems.
The computer is a complete custom build. The mobo, HDD, CD/ DVD Drive, RAM, etc were all removed from working pcs. So, I don't believe I can tell you much about it. I wont be able to do any of those automatic methods. I will open the BIOS menu and identify what I can.

So I just tried to install Vista on the system because I can't get the 7 disk to work. My computer recognizes the Disk. Then a black screen with a white bar saying "Windows is loading files...". The screen goes black again then shows the cursor and vista background. After a few seconds of nothing happening, I get another BSOD. This time it reads "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA". Same recommendations. But now a new error code: *** STOP 0x00000050 (0xA1A9EB19, 0x00000000, 0xA1A9EB19, 0x00000002)". Any knowledge as to what that means? Or any recommendations?

Moving down the list... I tried to install XP Pro on the computer. The installer loads all the files, then bar pops up and says "Creating new files to be copied". Once again, I got a new BSOD. Same messages, but a new terror code: "*** STOP: 0x0000007F (0x0000000D, 0x000000000, 0x000000000). I've almost given up all hope to getting this thing working. I only have 1 more install disk to try (Window XP Ice). If you have any insight towards what may be the problem (see previous post), please do tell.

Since you get so many different errors with may disk I think it's a memory problem. Especially stop 50.

Download the bootable ISO Memtest86 - Download Page
Burn it and boot from it. Let it check your memory for 10 hours
