I havn't tried that yet, but the errors don't seem to point that way. GW2's most common crash seems to be about trying to write to memory address 0000000 (or some similar large amount of 0's) and being unable to. The latest bluescreens also seem to be something about memory. I don't see how that would relate to running 2 screens, but I can certainly try it.

edit-
Yea, GW2 defaults to the main PC screen (playing fullscreen). I run the temperature etc monitoring utility on the other as well as youtube or mediaplayer usually.

It appears that you've done everything else, I thought I would offer up what I could. I'm having BSOD issues myself at the moment so I feel your pain. I hate it when I change something to fix it and it works for a few hours and I think I'm in the clear and then the BSOD artillery barrage begins anew. Good luck!

Avast is causing you trouble. Are you using the free version?

Yea I am, is there anything I can do to fix it? I've been using it for a LONG time and I must say I've been very satisfied with it, it's never blocked anything it shouldn't have and it does a great job keeping virusses out. Definitely not a pain in the ass to use like most free virusscanners :T, would be sad to remove it.

Well, the thing is Seven Forums will always recommend you to use Microsoft Security Essentials. It's a reliable product by Microsoft, and it runs tremendous a long Windows Firewall. It's free and it's safe -- all you want.

Just for a trial, try to uninstall Avast using this Uninstall Utility. You can return to Avast if things turn out different. But for now, your Avast is causing you trouble.

When you've uninstalled it, Enable Windows Firewall, and install Microsoft Security Essentials.

Best Regards,
Frederik.

Ok thanks, doesn't hurt to try. I already run windows firewall because other stuff may be somewhat more secure but it's just not worth the pain.. They tend to break every single game and program on my pc untill hours and hours of configs are set to be just right.

Will see if theres any more problems without running Avast! ,itll be a while of testing to be sure though

I decided to keep my current anti-virus software for now, to see if there were any more crashes. I havn't had any issues at all since last one. Problem seems to be solved, thanks a lot!

No problem.

Return with a dump if you'd get to experience one.

Best Regards,
Frederik.

I've gotten this error before and I'm not quite sure what it is. I looked around and saw that some people thought it was a virus/rootkit and others thought it was the memory or some other hardware failing. I'm of the opinion that it is my memory or my motherboard, but once again, I'm not quite...
