The crashes didn't make any memory minidumps. Is there somewhere else I can get dumps from?

They were bluscreens right as the windows startup animations finished. I checked all the normal dump directories and it doesn't look like the crashes made any.

Time for some tests

Run memtest86+ following this tutorial RAM - Test with Memtest86+ for 8 passes preferably overnight (It takes a while to complete)

  1. If you are overclocking any hardware, please stop.
  2. If you have an SSD, make sure the following are up to date:
  3. SSD firmware
    BIOS Version
    Chipset Drivers
    Hard disk controller drivers/SATA drivers
If you have a Marvell IDE ATA/ATAPI device, make sure the drivers are up to date from the Intel site or Marvell site and not from your motherboard/vendor support site.

Run hardware stress with prime95 Hardware - Stress Test With Prime95
  • Run all three tests for a few hours each. If you get errors, stop the test and post back here.
During this test you can use Speccy Speccy - System Information - Free Download to monitor the temp of your hardware

Warning
Before you proceed with the following, answer these two questions: Are you still under warranty? Does your warranty allow you to open up the machine to check hardware? If you are unsure of the answers to these questions, contact your system manufacturer. WARNING: The steps that follow can void your warranty!!!

I ran all the memtests and Prime95 tests without issue. Memtest went for 12 hours and 10 passes with 0 errors and all three prime95 tests went for 2 hours each and although I did have a BSOD a few minutes after ending the first test (same STOP f4), none of them returned errors.

My build is a custom one, so there are no warranties on it other than general manufacturer warranties (which have probably all expired by now).

Upload the dump?
Did you monitor the temps while doing prime95?
