BSODs are random. They are hard to produce at will, and so those are treated as issues.

Video TDR may be caused for some simple reasons like overheating, dust accumulation inside the computer or outdated display drive. I hope you have followed those steps as directed.

It may be caused by the hardware too, that is in case the GFX card is a faulty one.

Safe mode is important, coz it uses only some basic drivers. IF it crashes in safe mode too, it will give some directing information about the nature of the crashes.

hmm so in that case would you reccomend maybe cleaning the gpu and replacing the heat goo? ill try running it in safe mode and see if i can reproduce the issue. if it does crash what would that mean? i asssume faulty card and if it doesnt then faulty driver?

In that situation our notion will be diverted in some other angles, as safe mode does not use the display drivers at all.

BTW, have you replaced the driver? May we see your latest crash dump, another one after you posted for the first time?

yes i have replaced, updated, reverted, uninstalled, and reinstalled the drivers. the crash dump in the original post is the latest as the issue does not always end in a bsod. more often than not the screen flickers, blacks out, then sound cuts out and all i/o cuts off yet the pc seems to be on (fans and leds etc). i will post the dumps as they occur though. i will run the computer in safe mode for the rest of the night and see if i can reproduce the effects.

OK, post your subsequent dumps then.

Monitor the system hear in between. Clean the inside very carefully.

And, it is also to notice if the heat somehow increases before the crashes.

I will start the cleaning process tommorow after class. I plan to leave the computer running in safe mode to see if there are any issues. I went with safe mode with networking as the error occurs most when I have videos fullscreened.

No problem, boot normally. As it is not crashing in safe mode, we may take some decisions.

When it is running normally, if it crashes again, upload the dumps again. If needed, we may ask you to enable driver verifier once again.
