BC Code a. IRQ NOT LESS OR EQUAL

I have followed the BSOD posting instructions the best I can. I get BSOD about once per day. I have more than 30 stacked up in my Blue Screen Viewer. It is clear to me that I am unable to troubleshoot this by myself, lacking the necessary personal expertise.

I have run preboot assessment several times without error messages, and the same with Dell's version of PC Doctor.

Google searches on IRQ NOT LESS OR EQUAL get hits that do not lead me in a practical direction.

A previous post earned no responsive replies. I apologize for trying again, but what practical choice do I have?

What steps can I take that will lead to a lessening of these crashes?

    Hello highmeadowhiker.

Enable driver verifier. Run it upto 24 next hours or the next BSOD occurs whichever is earlier.
Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

If another BSOD occurs with driver verifier enabled, upload those for analysis.

The very next time I rebooted, I got BCC C9 with the driver identified as PxH1pa64.sys, and my BlueScreenViewer names Microsoft as the source of this driver. I believe that I was careful NOT to check any MS drivers, by the way, in setting up the Verify. I am now on my really old Win XP computer, because I cannot get to a populated desktop (except in Safe Mode) because as soon as I enter my password, I get the BSOD. This has happened three times with PxH1pa64.sys. Once I got a c4, with the driver identified in BlueScreenViewer as fltmgr.sys, no manufacturer given. This last time, a c4 with no driver named, but the BSOD says "a device driver attempting to corrupt the system . . . . "
I can boot to safe mode, to try to make such changes as are suggested to me. What shall I do next? Go into safe mode and try to run the SF_ etc?
I get the circling balls transforming into the slanted colored window, then sometimes the BSOD right away with a c9. Often a BSOD with BCC c4 right after entering password.
I can get into safe mode, but with normal mode cannot get to populated Desktop. I cannot even try to use normal mode, which would at least give me some time to do things. Either I need to back out the Verify, or go into safe mode, and from there follow some instructions about how to post the SF- … dump data.
What shall I do next? Boot in safe mode, turn off Verify, reboot in normal, run the SF_....exe utility, zip it, and then attach it to this thread?

Bugcheck C4, generates solely due to Driver Verifier.

We have got our intention why we enabled that verifier, now you may disable driver verifier, there will be no more C4 at boot.

So, it is PxH1pa64.sys but what is this driver

No information on it I am getting. I am seeking for more help, if anybody else know anything about it, but precaution is first.

Download MBAM Free, install it and update it. When done, boot your computer in Safe Mode, do a full system scan with it. It might be something malicious, so let us be preventive at the first chance.

That looks like a Sonic Solution driver.... it could be any software using it.... most probably a DVD or Blueray authoring tool ...

it looks like you have problems with Roxio creator 2012....

PxH1pa64.sys is part of Roxio software....

I would suggest you uninstall it completely and check if it BSOD..

This is strange! I did a full seach of my C: drive for PxH1pa64.sys and got no hits. I am going to post on the Roxio forum, and see what I can learn. I shall return to this forum when I know anything more.
