Update the firmware on your Vertex2, these are known to have stability issues and the updated firmware should help.

Can you post a snip of the Crystal Disk info page?
How to Post a Screenshot in Seven Forums
Uninstall Seatools, download a new copy and install, try to run the Long Drive Self Test again.
If Seatools won't run on your drive it's a very bad sign.
Do you have all your data backed up?
If not, then just to be safe I would buy another hard drive and copy everything over to it while you can.
You should always keep Image Backups of your OS and data.
This could be the cause of your crashes, best to take precautions.

How many passes did you run with memtest86+?

Here's the picture & it wont let me update it because it's the primary drive, so i'll plug it into another machine and have a go at updating it later. I've removed my secondary drive, the 1.5tb drive to see if that's the cause, it's been running for around 2 hours so far and usually doesn't get past 3 hours so we'll see. Much appreciate all your help, hopefully i'll find the cause of this annoying problem!

After you get the SSD firmware updated.

Can you get a CrystalDiskInfo snip of your HDD and try to run Seatools on it again with a new copy of Seatools downloaded and installed?

    Let us know your progress.

My pc has lasted around 10 hours and is still going, which is unusual. The only thing i've changed is i've unplugged my phone from my pc, which i keep plugged in constantly. I'll let you know if it's back to it's usual ways tomorrow or if it's fixed itself.
I appreciate all of your very quick responses and fantastic help! :)

It appears to be working now, my pc has been up for 5 hours with no problems whatsoever. The only thing i did was remove my phone from my pc, how weird that my windows phone was causing my pc to act weirdly like that, unless it was a weird coincidence? I suppose advice for people having the same issue as me is remove all usb devices apart from keyboard + mouse and see if that makes a difference. Weird. But anyway, i appreciate all of your help and fast/speedy responses, i really appreciate it :)
