i havent even gotten through the first pass on the memtest and im at 130,000 errors, so what does that mean?
It seems to be the same in your case. RAM failure. As you are getting errors in the first pass.Code:CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION (109) This bugcheck is generated when the kernel detects that critical kernel code or data have been corrupted. There are generally three causes for a corruption: 1) A driver has inadvertently or deliberately modified critical kernel code or data. See http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/driver/kernel/64bitPatching.mspx 2) A developer attempted to set a normal kernel breakpoint using a kernel debugger that was not attached when the system was booted. Normal breakpoints, "bp", can only be set if the debugger is attached at boot time. Hardware breakpoints, "ba", can be set at any time. 3) A hardware corruption occurred, e.g. failing RAM holding kernel code or data.
I have asked my hardware expert friend for some better input.
Hi Welcome to Seven Forums.
To help us help you would you please add your systems specs? Here's how: System Info - See Your System Specs
Under System Manufacturer/Model Number add whether it is a desktop or laptop and whether self built.
Log in to Seven Forums and you will be able to transfer the info directly to the specs page in your profile from within the System Info app.
Full instructions in the tutorial.
We need to know all this info to go forward. If the system still isn't booting, do the best you can from your memory. If you have multiple sticks of RAM, remove all except the one closest to the CPU and test.
