    BSOD randomly while playing a game


    Hey,
    I've been having this problem more frequent now it seems but randomly it'll blue screen on me while i'm playing pretty much any game. I'm not sure if it's cause I have my CPU overclocked..

    Norton antivirus alone itself is a known cause to blue screens. Suggest you to uninstall it.

    Once downloaded and installed, run a full scan after getting updated.

    STOP 0x0000001E: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED BSOD Index
    Usual causes: Device driver, hardware, System service, compatibility, Remote control programs, memory, BIOS

    STOP 0x0000003B: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION BSOD Index
    Usual causes: System service, Device driver, graphics driver, memory

    To make sure that hard drive is good run disk check following this tutorial:
    Hard drive scan usings SeaTools:
    SeaTools | Seagate both long and short tests.
    Run memtest86+ on each stick for 8 passes preferably overnight:
    If you have any remote control programs, please uninstall them.
