Yes, since if installing the service pack fixes your problem, you won't need to use Driver Verifier!

Ok I'll try that once my dad gets off the computer, hopefully it should fix it! I'll get back to you on results. Thanks.

Just remember to do it on an administrator account, otherwise it'll cause complications.

Unfortunately SP1 didn't seem to fix it, I'll try the Driver Verifier soon as I get a chance.

I think my computer is stuffed. I think I might just try and fresh reinstall.

I'm stuck at the moment, I need to turn driver verifier off, I got into safe mode before, now it's an instant blue screen when I can't even get into safe mode and I can't even start it normally. I can get into the boot menu like once every 20 restarts. Is there any way to turn it off?

I just did a fresh install, there were other problems that occurred other than the blue screen, anyway thanks for all your help.

Sorry I couldn't approach this sooner, I normally don't tackle tech forums on my weekends.

Driver Verifier did not cause your crashes in Safe Mode, it is only coincidental that you happened to have it on at the time. Driver Verifier does not run its extra checks in Safe Mode, so whatever was causing your crashes just meant you had some very unstable driver or hardware somewhere in there. If you still are getting instability of any sort from the fresh install of Windows, I think it'd be time to start looking at potential hardware-related causes.

Hello! I've been here before with almost the same system as last time. This time I have a new GPU, and I swapped because I had a BSOD-free month or so and so I didn't think it would be a problem as I thought my "home cures" had worked. So I reinstalled windows to clean my computer from trash...
