BSOD: Getting Error 0x0000000A - Please Halp

I'm working on my brother-in-laws PC. He's running Windows 7 Home Premium, and the computer boots up to the main desktop then I get the BSOD. I've tried rolling back to two different restore points but no joy. Attached is the dump files from the SF Diagnostics tool. It's got to be some program or driver, because it's as the Windows is starting up and loading all the startup progs that it happens. While I'm eager to find out what the problem is, if you can tell me how you found it, that would be of even greater use to me for future troubleshooting. However I'll settle for just the answer if the explanation is too long winded.

Thanks guys for doing what you do, it makes a difference.

Actually didn't have the full file UL'd, now everything that I could pull in Safe Mode is there.

    Welcome @nim6us
What's the antivirus that's being used in this computer?

BugCheck is BugCheck 1E not 0x0000000A

    STOP 0x0000001E: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

Usual causes: Device driver, hardware, System service, compatibility, Remote control programs, memory, BIOS.

@anonmly, please stop posting on other threads.

It's running Microsoft Security Essentials, in fact it's the last thing that pops up before the crash. Could just be a coincidence. But I've got work in 5 hours.. 4 hours of my night down the tubes on this issue, so frustrating! I'll have to pick back up tomorrow.

    Suggestions:

Please uninstall and remote control programs. Also uninstall Bit Defender.

    * System file checker for repairing any damaged files within windows
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

    * Run Memory test for 8 passes preferably overnight.
    RAM - Test with Memtest86+

    * To make sure your hard drive is good run
    Disk Check

    * Hard drive test both short and long with
    SeaTools for Windows

    SeaTools for DOS

    * Look for an update on your BIOS version from the manufacturers website.
    Code:
    BIOS Version/Date	American Megatrends Inc. 5.02, 4/17/2009

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I'm worried the problem is deep down in Windows. I've tried my usual tricks and nothing has worked. I'm really hoping what you suggest will work. By now I'd normally have just formatted the sucker! But I'm in the US and my bro-in-law is in the UK. He was hoping I could just have a look before the computer gets shipped back to him. Anyways I can only boot into safe mode, but I'll try your suggestions. Again thank you for taking the time to reply, it really means a lot that a total stranger (no offense) would stop to help me with my issue. :)

That's a good point, nothing is more frustrating and than infinite cliffhanger post. Where there's this great dialogue back and forth, then the OP finds the answer and never reports back, so you the rest of the people reading it never know if/what resolved the issues. I know so many assholes that just take, and take, but never give.

In that spirit, my father-in-law stopped by and picked up the PC to take it to as shop. It has to get shipped out by the weekend and couldn't wait on me. I'll try and let everyone know what the final result is from the shop techs.
