Hmm okay, what happens when you install the updates and shut down?

Alright, i let it shutdown once more, it installed the two updates and turned off.
and its right back where it started, the yellow shield and exclamation mark popped up next to Shut down in the shut down button. its jus repeating its self over and over and sometimes it just goes to a blank screen again before it even starts to install the updates when i do shut it down.

Alright, run the system file checker, reboot if it finds violations.
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

    Then try this:
    Windows Update - Reset

    That's cool.

Continue using your lappy that way. Come back to this thread if the problem persists.
We'll see what we can do.

    Take care.
