Windows 7: BSOD: random and error "The bugcheck code: 0x0000009f"

I almost forgot about this until it came back up today. -_-
you have any idea what this means?
It happened when my computer became unresponsive again and i tried shutting down from task manager with shutdown.exe and it couldnt shutdown and this came up for a second.. had to take a quick pic with my phone.

What were you doing at the time it became unresponsive?

It happened a couple of times but one time i was just surfing the internet on chrome, probably had winamp in the background(no big programs really) and it just started being unresponsive. Like the task bar would freeze up, if i moved my mouse over the icons it wouldn't even show any animations of lighting up or whatever it does. the task bar would like turn to a color to show that it isn't responding and have a spinning circle on my cursor.

Today i was just watching Netflix the whole night and all of a sudden it starts freezing up a couple of times till it actually did. It said the Silver light Plugin(Netflix) stopped responding but when i got out of full screen, everything else wasn't responding either. Like chrome Would still be functioning properly and every other program as well but windows would just hang and the task bar would go unresponsive.

That's when i try shutting down from task manager(Shutdown.exe ^^).. some how i got that to pull up(sometimes Nothing would come up at all) but everything else is dead basically besides programs. and to add to that, chrome would work but i wouldn't be able to go to any website it would keep spinning at the top.

Sorry for not replying, I was hoping my friends would take a look.
Anyway, do you want to do a clean install of windows? It looks like there are allot of things preventing your computer from shutting down correctly.

i was thinking about doing that, i gotta backup my stuff first(obviously), but how would i go on to do that? i know there's a part of the hard drive partitioned to recover but idk how to go on to do that.
And i didn't get any disk when i bought the laptop.

The tutorial you just gave me.. after i copy the data i want to my external hard drive. wouldnt i need a disc like a system repair or is the recovery program going to take care of that?

After backing up, you need a OS installation disc to perform a clean install and a license key to activate and validate that installation. Do you have those?

I didn't get any disc at all when i bought the laptop 2-3 years ago at bestbuy.. its usually when you buy these stuff you just get the laptop, the charger, and a little manual paper in a suitcase size box lol.
