    Semi-random BSODs & Deadlocks - BCCode: 1a

This is a brand new built from scratch Windows 7 Ultimate OS PC. The 30 day return period will expire in two days meaning it's too late to simply have it replaced by the retailer. I've been having both system freeze-ups and blue screens at random. They have come at completely random times before, but most of the time the problems happen during gaming. I'd built a list of things that could be causing all this and started checking them off, but I'm thinning the list of possible problems. My last resort would be to send the Motherboard, which I believe is the faulty part, back to the manufacturer. Please take a look at the mini dump files I am attaching as I do not know how to use them. Here's some more information should you need it.

    System Specs:
    OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64
    CPU: AMD PH II X4 965 3.4G AM3 R
    Motherboard: ECS A885GM-A2 (V1.1) 880G AM3 R
    Memory: 4Gx2 PAREEMA MD313C81609L2 R
    Graphics Card: ZOTAC ZT-50604-10L GT520 1G R
Monitor Display: Dell E156FP (Repurposed from previous PC)
    Screen Resolution: 1024x768 (Recommended Setting)
Hard Drive: 500G WD SATAIII WD5000AAKX
PSU: Cooler Master RS650-ACAAE3-US 650W RT
    Case: Rosewill Challenger RT
    Cooling: ARCTIC ACALP64-GT R
    Keyboard: Dell Model-SK8115
Mouse: Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 5000

List of Things Checked Off Possible Problem list:
    Memory sticks passed memtest 86+
Memory position relocated to every possible permutation and problems persist
    Operating System Re-Installed twice
Drivers Updated Manually in Device Manager
Driver Verifier program run and activated - upon startup system freeze happens immediately at black screen after Windows Logo screen appears
Driver Verifier deactivated in safe mode after several attempts to start Windows normally while still active
Video Card removed and tested in my brother's working replica PC (I replicated his PC)
    ATI Drivers uninstalled and reinstalled
All external devices besides mouse, monitor, and keyboard detached

Hello nitwp and welcome to the forums.

Two of your dump files point to Smite.exe which I'm assuming is a game. As a starting point I think it would be prudent to update your graphics card drivers to the most recent release.

That was one of the first things I did at day one. Today I got an error message for once.

    The Exception Privileged Instruction
0xc0000096 occurred in the application at location 0x77d1e02d

I closed the program and immediately got a blue screen.

I'm now 99.9% positive it's a faulty motherboard. I don't know of any way to take the fan off the processor and the processor off the board. I guess I'll just have to send all three in since they're stuck together.

    nitwip,
Since I've a few decades of experience behind me,
I'm not as sure the problem is the motherboard.

Can you boot into SafeMode? Yes/No.
