Run chkdsk again and we will see if the results have improved or gotten worse.

No need to make snapshots. I have a script which extracts the results from the event logs.

Script:
# **********************************************
# Places CHKDSKLOGS.txt on your DESKTOP
# ChkDskLogs.txt contains chkdsk results
# **********************************************
$obj = new-object -typename psobject
$events
get-winevent -filterhashtable `
@{logname='application';id=1001,26212,26214}
`
-
verbose:$false -ea:silentlycontinue |
where {($_.providername -ne 'Microsoft-Windows-LoadPerf') `
-and (
$_.providername -ne 'Windows Error Reporting')} |
sort-object -property timecreated -desc
If (
$events -eq $Null{$events "No check disk logs exist." }`
 ELSE {
$obj $events SELECT timecreatedidmessage }
$obj ft -auto -wrap $env:userprofile\desktop\CHKDSKLOGS.TXT

EXIT
EXIT
# STEP 1 ** RUN POWERSHELL AS ADMINISTRATOR
WIN key | type POWERSHELL | do NOT hit ENTER |
in the PROGRAMS list, right-click on WINDOWS POWERSHELL |
choose "Run as administrator" |
Click on the YES button (if such appears)

# STEP 2 ** COPY AND PASTE
COPY the script using CTRL+C,
PASTE into Powershell
---Right-Click at the PowerShell Prompt
---(Ctrl+V does not work)

WIN key = key with Microsoft logo on top

I will do one tonight (since it takes forever) and see if it completes, in the mean time I have attached the log for the last one that completed. I recall is blue screening, but it kinda looks like it finished in the logs... maybe somthing caused the BSOD right after? I dont know. I will report back tomorrow, enjoy the text log in the meantime.

I'll await a fresh chkdsk report. The fresh one will collect the new and the old so I will be able to see what changes, if any, have occurred.
