    random BSOD when surfing net

hi..new to this site and also a bit computer-retarded. i've gotten the BSOD before, but it was worse than this case. my laptop suddenly shut down one day and would just show me the bsod any time it was turned on, and then it would shut off again. after lots of failed attempts to get my laptop back on, i restored it. luckily i had a back up of all my files so it was no biggie.

now it has started doing it again, but this time it is turning back on after it 'crashes'. i'll be on the internet and then the screen will go black, then it will flash me the BSOD or something about crash dump, and then shut off. but thankfully it turns back on again.

hopefully i included all the info necessary for anyone to help me out! computer specs are on my profile i think..thanks!

    Welcome

There are no dumps in the file, please make sure you are following the instructions the right way
    https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html

    In the meantime:

Please uninstall Avast! and McAfee. Install MSE and run a full scan.
Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows

Do you have Daemon tools installed? If yes, please uninstall it as it is a known cause of bsod errors.

Get the latest bios update from the manufacturers website.
    Code:
    BIOS Version/Date	American Megatrends Inc. A1683NMR V3.0O, 11/23/2009
Do the above and post back.

ok..well i did it again, followed all instructions step by step. i made another zip file, it is attached to this post. i also got a message with it that is also attached...not sure if that is why its not creating dumps..need help.

uninstalled mcafee and avast..whilst doing so my laptop shut off and i got another BSOD. turned it on. installed mse and did a full scan. everything looks good there.

no i do no have daemon tools.

and also..on updating my BIOS..i found this guide

is this a good one to follow? i am a bit scared to mess up the process and not have a computer at all. thanks.
