Use Core Temp , to check the CPU temps when at idle, under load and/or testing.
Let us know the minimum and maximum temps you get.

First thing to do is make sure the CPU is not overheating.
Do not do any further testing unless the CPU is running at safe temps.
Can you download CPUZ and post a snip of the CPU, Mainboard, Memory, and SPD tabs.
For posting the information , enter 'Snipping tool' in the Start button > Search box, hit enter. Select the area you want to post and save to a convenient place.

Go to your BIOS and tell us what the CPU, RAM and the CPU integrated memory controller voltages are.
Run memtest86+ for 7 full passes, with all RAM cards installed.
Best to run overnight as depending on the amount of RAM you have may take several hours.
If you get any errors you can stop the test.

MY blue screens seem to be better after restoring my bios to deafult settings. what is the danger zone for my CPU?
AMD
FX-8120
Zambezi 32nm Technology
CPU 1.380V
DRAM 1.653V
Couldn't find CPU Integrated Memory in my BIOS
and my CPU is running 60-65 playing borderlands 2, but idle its around 30-40
Those temps are high, AMD usually run cool. I have seen many running stress tests at 50°C or below.
Are you using the stock CPU cooler?
Max CPU temp is 61°C, add 5°C for the core temp max core temp is 66°C.
AMD FX-8120 Product Details
Were you OC'ing the CPU and RAM?
Post the full crash reports if your have another crash.
it only happens during borderlands. i am using the stock cooler. i have a hyper 212 EVO.
what can i do to cool it?
clear my case?
reseat the cpu?
change the fan?
more fans?
my cable management is noexistent, will arranging wires help at all, or is this all the fans/thermal paste?
also i dont overclock at all. playing any games it usually gets to maybe 55, just borderlands 2 spikes up this high. i got warning from AI Suite Thermal watch and shut my computer down.
These are my temps with WOW running. Should i be looking at core temps or the cpu temp?
