BlueScreen after closing laptop screen

Hi, first off all i'm new to the forum so if this thread is in the wrong section etc, apologies and please move mods. Also apologies if this problem has already been addressed.

Recently when I have closed over the screen on my laptop (HP Pavillion g6) when I have lifted the screen up again i've had blue screen pop up, I didn't manage to get all of what it said down in time but it was something like, STOP:0x0000016

The 'windows has recovered from unexpected shutdown' pop box gave me these details:
