    BlueScreen after closing laptop screen


    Hi, first off all i'm new to the forum so if this thread is in the wrong section etc, apologies and please move mods. Also apologies if this problem has already been addressed.

    Recently when I have closed over the screen on my laptop (HP Pavillion g6) when I have lifted the screen up again i've had blue screen pop up, I didn't manage to get all of what it said down in time but it was something like, STOP:0x0000016

    The 'windows has recovered from unexpected shutdown' pop box gave me these details:

when i close my windows 7 ultimate x64 laptop. And come back to it, it will freeze when i open it back up (i have to do a manual shutdown) i have tried going into the settings and setting the hard drive shutdown to never, but nothing works. Any help is appreciated

BSoD When Closing Laptop Screen

For whatever reason, I keep getting the BSoD if I put my laptop to sleep by closing the screen. Clicking the Sleep button on the menu works fine, but closing the screen messes everything up. I've had this happen multiple times now and I don't understand the problem. I'm not really knowledgeable...
