BSOD's on cold boot, ntoskrnl.exe, ntfs.sys It is my first post at SevenForums.com, so hello everyone!
I thought I would figure it out on my own, but I was wrong. For a couple of weeks I've been struggling with bsods, which occur mainly on cold boot, 3 to 4 times before everything stabilizes. I've already tested my ram with memtest and after 7 full cycles there were no errors at all. I also did chkdsk for every disk, tested the CPU and VRAM. Nothing there. I haven't installed any new hardware that might corrupt my pc. So I am stuck now, and the only thing I could do was to kindly ask You for help.

Thanks. Code: DAEMON Tools Lite "c:\program files (x86)\daemon tools lite\dtlite.exe" -autorun B11-PC\B11 Startup
Start Menu\Programs\AVG Public:Start Menu\Programs\AVG Public Uninstall Daemon Tools, it's a known cause for BSoDs.
Your dumps do not give a probable cause but for now I'd suggest to uninstall AVG.
Download and install Microsoft security essentials. Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows
Run a full scan once updates are done.
And look for a update on your BIOS version. Code: BIOS Version/Date Phoenix Technologies, LTD 6.00 PG, 2008-01-11 Disable driver verifier, I'll ask you to enable it again if needed later.

I was sure, everything went fine after I did all your instructions, but today, when I switched my pc on, the screen froze a few seconds after logging in into windows. I restarted it, logged in, and bam, the screen went black and a strange beep was coming out from mobo. It was something about 3 sec beep, 3 sec silence, and so on. I suppose it is rather a hardware problem, am I right? I don't have any new crash dumps.
Edit:
I got bsod again, stop 7E, no crash dump collected. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 |

Well, does sound like a hardware problem. - Whats the age of the hardware?
- Is it under its warranty?
- What is the date of installation of the OS?
- Was the OS reinstalled?
- Since when did this problem start?
- Were there any hardware/software changes?

1. The pc is 4 and a half years old.
2. It is not.
3. I suppose I had a clear installation a year ago.
4. As above
5. The problem has been visible at certain times for about a few months. But it was rare, if I got one bsod a month it was all. After I did all the instructions you mentioned, it was ok for 2 days. But now it just crashes a few times every time I start the pc in the morning. So again, it is only a cold boot problem.
6. I have added 2GB memory 2 years ago, but there were no problems back then, and I have run memtest for about 9 hours - no errors there. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 |
