Will try your recommendations tomorrow. I was not at the computer at the time it crashed. Screen was black and would not respond to keyboard or mouse to bring back to life [Typical of what I usually see]. No programs were running at the time. (when I walk away for the day, I clear all open apps except a Sensor Panel from AIDA64 that I've been using to track down possible heat issues leading to this problem) Had to reboot.
No problems so far.
Froze again last night while I was away. This morning I opened it up and did as requested above. Fingers crossed.
BSOD while working this morning. Not doing much except CS6 DW, iTunes & Outlook. Seemed to point to ATI Driver. Here is the SF Diag. Dump. Thanks for all your help.
Jake, It is a VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (116).
Follow the thread STOP 0x116: VIDEO_TDR_ERROR troubleshooting, it describes what to de for a stop 116, in detail.
But , there are updates for your ATI display card, after April, that you are using. Start from updating the display driver.
