Windows 7: PC Keeps shutting down when in sleep mode, Event 41-Kernel Power

Hi. My pc is shutting down more and more frequently so that it now happens every time I close the lid for sleep mode. In Event Viewer there are numerous "Event 41, Kernel Power" warnings like below:

My Computer Specs are the following:

HP Envy 15 Notebook
Intel Core i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20 GHz 2.20 GHz

8 GB RAM

Win 7 Home Premium 64-Bi, SP1

Any help would be appreciated! (This is still under warranty, but I'd rather try to fix things on my own--with help from Win 7 experts, of course--than deal with HP's Tech support.)

It is caused by the Intel(R) Wireless WiFi Link 5000 Series Adapter Driver for Windows 7.
Update it from Download Center.

Free up the startup.

1. Click on the Start button
2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
3. Select the “Startup” tab.
4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus and ObjectDock.
5. Apply > OK
6. Accept the restart.

Hi again! I wanted to thank you for taking the time to look at my dump files and responding as well as offering a solution. Before I posted this I did a lot of research online and saw people with similar issues although not exact, so I decided to post and see what you guys had to say.

I clicked on the link you provided and downloaded Easy Drive Pro, ran it and it said I needed to update 25 drivers. So, I went into my PC's HP Support and it said I needed to update a bunch of drivers (including the wi-fi adapter but not even close to 25) as well as the BIOS, so I let it do that automatically hoping that would solve the problem-it didn't! I decided to wait until this morning when I was fully awake before messing around with installing and uninstalling more drivers.

Today I thought about all the "resolutions" I saw while doing my research and since many of them were problems with the IPv6 configuration, rather than downloading more drivers I did what someone suggested elsewhere and simply went into my adapter properties, unchecked the IPv6 box and voila!--my computer went to sleep and awoke without any problems. WooHoo!!

I'm not generally one for emoticons but--!
