Well, considering the only place you can legally get RTM is from MSDN or Technet, I can't recommend grabbing anything from the Digitallife Forums. And since you can also only get keys for RTM from Microsoft, I'm assuming you are either using a warez key or you are running without a key and resetting the activation window every 30 days.

Perhaps you should install all of the available Dell drivers, not just the video drivers.
I need a working driver for my Linksys Wireless-G PCI Adapter WMP54G V4.1 before I can do anything else

I don't really know how to update bios....All I know is this was a clean install of Windows 7 RTM from Mydigitallifeforums the windows repository thread, which is supposed to be the latest and supposedly final version I have just clean installed and have modified or touched nothing, also last time for the graphics driver I downloaded and extracted the drivers then went to device manager and went to update driver on standard VGA graphics went to browse computer, have disk, next and it installed and worked and I was able to increase the resolution and everything looked nicer but on certain websites with animated ads (That firefox's adblocker did not klick for done reason, or when trying to view the take the windows 7 tour video, or after a few minutes of playing Maple Story a game I frequently play it lags and gives me bsod)
lag, or bsod on animated might be direct x. does the card support direct x?

Ok Im back, I did a full format of
my hard drive, and did a clean install of Windows 7 32-Bit Final RTM, and Im back with being stuck at 640x480 resolution, display adapter is being named Standard VGA Graphics Controller, Monitor is being named Generic PnP Monitor, I have no sound under other devices it says Multimedia Audio Controller with a yellow '!' sign, And I have no Internet acess, under other devices it says Network controller, with another yellow '!' sign, and the Installation cd that came with my wireless pci network card won't work... last time I tried to find these drivers on my own it caused bsods (Read Thread Title/First Post) Help Please Im typing on ITouch Atm and it's hard to do so.......:/

Two things you can do to help.

First if you have internet. grab a copy of everest dl and install. It will tell you all of your devices so we know for sure we get the correct drivers.

Second if you bsod again go to c:\windows\minidump, zip the dump file (*.dmp) and upload it for us to debug.

If you need help with either of these let us know

There seems to be a few compatibility issues with this machine and Win 7. Especially the age of model and onboard graphics. There aren't even drivers for Vista with that machine.

It will be an uphill battle trying to keep that machine stable with 7.

I know it supports direct X because I need Direct X 9 to run Maple Story, and I ran it fine for like 3 years on Xp, and also I downloaded Everest and it just said the display driver was: Attachment 28745

Should I run the sound setup in compatibility mode for windows xp, or windows 2000?
Or should I just manually install the driver?

You can attempt to install them manually, but I dont believe its going to solve your problem ... I think that your computer is too antiquated to run windows 7...
