bsod random 0x0000001e, occasional irql

    Taking a look at them, did you try this tool?
    Norton removal tool

    STOP 0x0000001E: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
    Usual causes: Device driver, hardware, System service, compatibility, Remote control programs, memory, BIOS
    I'm not sure what to suggest until we get Norton removed. Did you run the TDS scan too?

    Thanks I used that tool and got norton removed. It started and then failed. Then it restarted itself and looked like it had installed a windows update. it bsod once yesterday and then i tryed to run the microsoft security essentials tool and it did it again however i was using the computer while it was running. I am going to run a full micro security scan tonight and see what happens
