    Random Crashes

    I'm experiencing frequent freezes at various times. Doesn't matter what I'm doing everything will freeze and only thing I can do is hold down power button till computer turns off then restart.
    Earlier I got a BSOD that said;
    Driver_Power_State_Failure
    STOP: 0x0000009F
    HP Pavilion dv7-6b78us
    Windows 7 Home Premium x64
    Current on all Windows updates
    Thanks for your time & help,

    Ran the Intel Driver Update Utility Wireless tool and installed the recommeded driver. I'll post back after the computer has run a while with the new driver.

    Really appreciate the quick response,

    Now it is your time to enable Driver Verifier to monitor the drivers.

    Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

    Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.

    Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any, following the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions
