    BSOD while leaving computer idle.

I was watching some T.V. and my computer just BSOD'd while it was on the desktop. This has been happening frequently and it seems to be a hard drive problem. I have a new one I haven't installed yet, I'm just making sure this is a hard drive problem. Check them all if you like, but the one I'm most concerned happened to day, 9/29/2012.

    The dump shows

"DISK_HARDWARE_ERROR: There was error with disk hardware"

And was mentioned in your thread earlier: https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...-update-2.html

Get a new hard drive and that should be the end of problems.

    Code:
    ERROR_CODE: (NTSTATUS) 0xc0000185 - The I/O device reported an I/O error.

DISK_HARDWARE_ERROR: There was error with disk hardware

    BUGCHECK_STR: 0x7a_c0000185

    CUSTOMER_CRASH_COUNT: 1
    STOP 0x0000007A: KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR

Usual causes: Memory, Paging file corruption, File system, Hard drive, Cabling, Virus infection, Improperly seated cards, BIOS, Bad motherboard, Missing Service Pack
