BSOD, sudden restarts. Error code: 0x000000f4

    The problem:

At times, my computer will restart without any kind of warning. Upon rebooting, it will say:
"Reboot and select a proper boot drive."

Other times, I get a BSOD with the error code 0x000000f4.

    My system:
    CPU - Intel i7-2600 @ 3.40 GHz
    Motherboard - Asus P8Z68-V Pro LGA 1155
    RAM - Corsair Vengeance 16gb (4x4GB) 240-pin SDRAM DDR3 1600
Boot drive - 64gb Crucial SSD
Storage drive - 1 TB Western Digital Caviar Black
    GPU - GTX 580 3Gb x2
    PSU - Antec 1200W

    My thoughts:
My boot drive is near capacity. Currently there's only 2gigs of ram left on the drive. Can these errors be caused by a full drive?

According to the information that you supplied, the last dump is dated 05/09/2012; and the crash bugcheck is 0x116. The other one, just previous to that one, dated 04/09/2012, shows the same thing.

For it, you need to follow STOP 0x116: VIDEO_TDR_ERROR troubleshooting.

Sorry the information you supplied does not contain any 0x000000f4. Here is a snip of the things that your uploaded folder contains.

I've been crashing hourly, but it doesn't look as if the logs are being generated in a way that's useful to the situation.

Can you give me a rundown of what can cause this kind of an error?

Without seeing the crash dumps, if I say anything, that will not a sound advise.

► Still , there are problem creators in your system.

    • AI Suite II
    • Bitdefender 2012
    • McAfee Security Scan Plus
    • Razer
    • Spybot

Install them all. Use simple keyboard and mouse. Install Microsoft Security Essential as antivirus.

    Free up the startup.

    1. Click on the Start button
    2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
    3. Select the “Startup” tab.
    4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
    5. Apply > OK
    6. Accept the restart.

    Force Minidump

    1. Go to Advance System Setting
    2. Under Performance .. click on setting ...
    3. Go to Advanced Tab and then under virtual memory click change
    4. check "Automatically Manage paging file size for all drives"..... click Ok and ok
    5. and if asked to restart do so....

Now you should be able to create a minidump

Do those, and let us know.
