    Blue screen playing games

I'm experiencing the "Blue screen of death", it recently just occurred and it hasn't happened before when I was gaming. The exact date as where it started to do that is in the morning of the 2nd of October 2012. What happens when I experience the blue screen is that I try to get into a game, it loads and I last about around 50 seconds to 4 minutes for normal gaming and then it starts, the graphics go haywire, as in it looks like random shapes and polygons and waypoints, it pixelates then crashes giving me that blue screen. It only affects gaming, nothing else. I have already tried to reinstall the drivers for my graphics card and also my computer is not even 1 year old at this point in time Please help!

    Probably caused by : atikmpag.sys ( atikmpag+64da )

See if there is an update for your ATI Radeon HD 3870: AMD Support & Drivers

If this is the latest driver try:

    • Download Driver Sweeper from - Guru3D - Driver Sweeper
    • Install DriverSweeper
    • Uninstall your Radeon drivers from the Control Panel > Programs and Features
    • Reboot your system into safe mode (Hit F8 during Boot)
    • Run DriverSweeper (from within Windows Safe Mode)
    • Check on "AMD-Display"
    • Hit Analyze
    • Select All and Hit "Clean"
    • Reboot back into Normal Windows (not safe mode)
    • Install your new drivers

    Thanks
