    Assorted freezes and crashes when gaming

    Hi

    I keep getting crashes whenever I go into a game. The symptom seems to be that whenever I do something remotely graphics intensive, I will get the one of following crashes;
    - "Display driver crashed and recovered",
    - Screen Freeze (have to hard reset to recover)
    - Monitor blacks out and lost signal (hard reset to recover).

    I managed to get the attached bluescreen dump files when the computer started back up. I have also attached my Dxdiag This has been going on for a while, and I don't know what is wrong.

    Can someone point me in the right direction as to how to diagnose this?

    Thanks :)

    Iy's an old nVidia display driver that is causing the crashes. Update the driver, following the option two of Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers.

    Hi

    I have updated the Nividia driver to 306.23 as instructed through Nividia's automatic driver search.

    However, when I started up and played Shogun 2, the screen randomly froze and the computer restarted. Attached is the dump file that I obtained.

    Thanks
