One thing that's cool about nvidia is that with their unified driver architecture, with some easy mods to the .inf, you can use a lot of different drivers not necessarily intended for your specific card.
Laptopvideo2go is a great site that posts the latest nvidia drivers (including many desktop drivers) along with modified .infs for using them in laptops. Sometimes they are better, sometimes not. But there is a forum where you can see which drivers people are liking.
Btw, I just got a nice new nvidia driver for my T61p laptop (Quadro FX 570m display adapter) via Win Update today. It's Forceware 186.94. (I was using 186.31 (I think) from Laptopvideotogo before.) Along with RivaTuner for a little performance 3d overclocking, it's very cool.
I know nvidia is into the 190s with their latest drivers but unfortunately I don't think my oldish display adapter supports those well.
