Windows 7: Gateway NV52 AMD Athlon - freezes often

Hi,

My Gateway NV52 laptop / AMD Athlon 64 X2 Ql-65 has started freezing 2x per day for the past week.



When video/audio is playing, it'll make sound turn into a ZZZZ jagged-metallic and slowed down. After 30-120 seconds it turns back to normal.

No error reports. What could it be? Thanks!

Problem Devices: SBRE ROOT\LEGACY_SBRE\0000 This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed.

Go to device manager > select view from the menu > show hidden devices, find the driver above right click then uninstall, Reboot, check device manager to see if it has gone or returned.

Device "SBRE ROOT\LEGACY_SBRE\0000" (appears as "SBRE" with a "!" yellow exclamation mark) did not return after reboot.

It just happened again, although it lasted only 3 seconds. I was watching a video, and the sound went ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.
