BSOD when loading certain steam games.

Hey guys i posted here before about BSODs related to my RAM (hence the amount of dumps in the folder, i think you can ignore the majority of the older ones, the ones from today i presume will prove most helpful). I have since fixed that problem (afaik) and now present you genius' with another!

Not long ago i started experiencing bluescreen's whenever i tried to load portal 2, pretty much instantly. Other games such as CS:S or Portal 1 work fine, i'm now also experiencing the bsods with boarderlands 2.

I read somewhere that it could of been my bios, so i updated that but the problem persists.

If theres any more information you require please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Chris.

Thanks for your reply, whilst making my way down that list of things to do, i've downloaded "furmark" and the instructions say to run it in stability mode but i see no option for that in the version i downloaded (presumably the most recent) What shall i do?

EDIT: Also, i have updated my BIOS which had no positive effect despite being the cause all over boarderlands 2 forums, could it be that the updated BIOS is still causing it? If so, is there anyway for me to fix it?

clean install will fix it, hopefully, if all failed.
