It should be kernel dump if we're going to get the MEMORY.DMP file from the crash. Remember after restarting from editing the registry keys to confirm DV is still running.

Remember that this will only work if you're getting a degrading performance. The instalock freezing will prevent you from manually crashing.

Did the actual command cause the freeze or did it freeze before you got the chance to do the command? If the former, this issue is a lot worse than I thought, and that it may very well end up with you starting to replace hardware, starting with the drive, mobo and CPU.

Anyways, just provide me the latest MEMORY.DMP if it exists.

Dropbox is all right, but I personally cannot access it in some environments I'm in. There are metaupload sites like Mirrorcreator.com that you can use to upload to various filesharing sites at one time for compatibility purposes.

ok i have a new development after discovering verifier worked in safe mode and the manual crash worked as well i got new inspiration to mess with regular mode. so i installed vlc to play a movie. and opened task manager to watch performance as it played. everything was running beautiful no slow down whatsoever. all of a sudden a window pops up telling me i am about to be logged off because the power service stopped unexpectantly. ???? i clicked ok and everything shut down. i have never seen a message like that.
