NEW asus system COMPLETE random bsod

hi im new to the forums. fairly seasoned computer builder and am having an issue with a new setup i just built. i read the thread and made the zip, and have attatched it. im fairly new to hunting down deep dark secrets of the bsod. but im an extremely fast learner. im half way through my B.A. for I.T. so any help guidance or tips on the issue would be great. if there is any info im misssing or should include let me know. again thanks a MILLION

after contacting asus and trying updated drivers for everything the bsod are still intermittent. the only thing that seems constant is the ntoskrnl.exe being listed as a cause.

Do you have an SSD? If yes, have you updated to the latest firmware?
Is any of the hardware components overclocked?

no there is no SSD. none of the hardware components are overclocked. and i didnt set my system specs because i have several towers and laptops all with varying equipment

i left this tower at my father in laws im on the way there now i can post full system specs as far as hardware and what not as soon as i get over there.


and thanks for the reply koolkat i have been reading and searching forums for a few weeks now looking for help

Put up the specs of the computer you're having BSoDs. Did you check if all the parts are compatible with each other before purchasing?

It seems to be the cause of your problems.
Run Disk Check, see if it that fixes it. If it doesn't, that hard drive should be replaced.

you already spotted it yes its 80 gig western digital sata hdd. it is new so i dont think its the issue i have ran chkdsk several times.

optical drive
DVD BRN ASUS | DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS%
asus vd/dvd burner sata



i also have ran memtest from flash drive for 48 hours had about 12 passes 0 fails so im pretty sure the ram is good and compatible

all theese parts are brand new in an old dell case
