Okay, are any of the hardware components overclocked?
And is the PC under warranty?

Did you test your ram in different slots? If you don't follow the suggestions
you won't know where the problem is.

Although I have a feeling it's a bad motherboard, I might be wrong. But saying
cause you say you used your friends GFX card in your PC and got the same issue.

No, I have never overclocked, but I think the blackscreen/freeze only happens on counter strike: global offensive if that say you anything. I will try to install call of duty modern warfare 3 and see if it happens on that game.

Keep a check at your computer temps while gaming or usage and at idle,
Use Speccy: Speccy - System Information - Free Download

Hello, try the card in another PCIe-x16 slot also and test your game.

Try this test in the link to stress the GPU. Try running at max settings and look for any color aberrations or any odd display in the test. This will make your GPU hot, keep an eye on temps during this.

    Graphics card:

If you have just recently built your rig you may want to remove all the power cables and reconnect them. Sometimes something can be forgotten or misonnected.
Do not try to downgrade the BIOS.

But why does it work on all other games than cs:go?
