BSOD at random intervals, no specific pattern even after clean install

    Well, we know the RAM works, the graphics card works and the hard drives are running well. I really do not think that another installation of Windows will help and I think that the only option is the motherboard. It's fairly old and it would explain the issues with the memory - especially as my PC always used to overheat before I bought new fans and a heatsink. Perhaps it's fried.

    Would you agree that if the problem persists it might be worth getting a new motherboard as there doesn't seem to be any other hardware issues?

    We may have asked already, but how are your CPU temps and what program are you using to monitor them?

    All around the 40s and I'm currently using SIW to monitor them.
