    hi!

could you help me with the same problem? my acer aspire 8935g (on win7x64) freezes many times a day, without any reason, just randomly. i've just done a virus scan, and it froze for the last 2 try about 65-70%. then i checked my hdd- health, and the stock toshiba hdd is on 50% (barely brand new). anyway, here are the dump files, plz help if you could. thx

    Hi and welcome

these crashes were caused by memory corruption. You should download memtestx86, burn it to cd, and run it for 5 passes.

My pleasure just realize that whenever you add ram the two separate sets may NOT run together at all.

let us know if you need help

i bought them in kit, so now there is only the geil kit in it (2x2GB), and there isn't any other free channel. btw last night, i tried to switch them, and the notebook hasn't boot up, just black screen, without a single character on it... is it normal???
    (sry for my bad english)
