the ram is made to be overclocked at 2400mhz so i was running it at 2400mhz but to be on the safe side ill clock it at 1800mhz from now on to see if that is the problem. i ran memtest for 18 hours and it made 4 passes and found no errors. it seems to do well when just being on but when i play my mmo thats when it crashes. and i noticed when i surf the web it does ok too. im going to play some of my mmo and see if the problem is still there. ill post after im done later tonight.

Don't play just the game. Do some more memory intensive tasks or something that puts your PC under more stress. See if the computer is stable or blue screens
Wait for a few more days before marking as solved
