Well I have been having a problem with computer Blue screening a lot lately and it generally happens randomly or when i am just searching the internet. I can not pin it down to anything. It just doesnt make sense because i built this computer myself and the processor seems to always be above 50% usage and 25% ram when all I have running is internet and maybe itunes.

This is really fustrating so any help is greatly appreciated. I attached the needed dump files. Thanks in advance.

McAfee is the worst possible software. Uninstall it without having a second thought. That's crap! Use Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows.


► Uninstall all the Gigabyte junks you have installed.

  • Start Menu\Programs\GIGABYTE\AutoGreen
  • Start Menu\Programs\GIGABYTE\EasySaver
  • Start Menu\Programs\GIGABYTE\ET6 : First run it, set everything to default and then uninstall it.
► update the network driver:

  1. download the network card driver from manufactuer's website, Realtek
  2. Then reinstall the driver:
  3. Click the Start Button, type "devmgmt.msc" (without quotation marks) in the Start Menu Search box and press Enter.
  4. Double click to expand "Network adaptors".
  5. Right click your network card and click Uninstall.
  6. Check "Delete driver software for this device" check box, click OK.
  7. Restart the computer
► Free up the startup.

  1. Click on the Start button
  2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
  3. Select the “Startup” tab.
  4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
  5. Apply > OK
  6. Accept the restart.
