Hi Britton30,
I've answered #2 post in post #5. If you want an answer for the Windows question: I've bought the copy in Local Store here in Bulgaria a year and so ago. Made a mistake when registering to the forum and wrote down diferent version (I really can't make the difference between home, prof and ultimate and if there is any other version out there)

OK, thanks.
Hi Welcome to Seven Forums.
To help us help you would you please add your systems specs? Here's how: System Info - See Your System Specs
Under System Manufacturer/Model Number add whether it is a desktop or laptop and whether self built.

Log in to Seven Forums and you will be able to transfer the info directly to the specs page in your profile from within the System Info app.
After doing this your specs will be available in each of your posts. Click on mine in the lower left to see how it should look.
Full instructions in the tutorial.

And...

Some hardware tests to run.

Graphics card:

Hard drive(s):
Pick one for your HDD brand or use Seatools.

RAM (memory):
This will require memtest on a bootable CD or USB stick.

Yep B how about a physical surface check / test too have found a quite a few with bad sectors with it that don't necessarily come up with other checkers - no harm in trying.

Thanks for both your replies
@Britton30: I've done all the three tests and everything is clean and clear - The graphic card's test didn't find any annomalities; the Generic hard disk test with SeaTools didn't find anything; I ran Memtest86+ a week ago, before starting the thread and no errors were found.
@ICit2lol: the surface scan takes time and my PC can't endure a full scan without restarting itself because of BSoD 0x8000000000000002
Monday I'll take the machine to a doctor

Before the doc appointment, uninstall your GPU driver per Koolkat's method and....

Try these steps to install only the graphics driver.

1.Download the preferred driver and save it to the desktop.
2.Double click the installer and you will see a screen where it will be extracted to, change that to your desktop.
3.Open Device Manager through Control Panel.
4.Expand Display adapters and right click the name for yours and choose Update Driver\Browse my Computer. Select the driver folder you just saved on the desktop. Click Next.
5. Your system should say "Windows has successfully updated your driver software".

If you get a window saying you already have the most current driver, go back to step 4 and choose Uninstall Driver software instead. Then restart from step 3.

Hum that is a nuisance not being bale to check the disk physically but... you can't so Britons post is your best shot.

Am no expert like the others but looking back though - the problem started with that BIOS update maybe something in that causing this problem?
