    BSOD completely random bad_pool_header

    Hello!

I'm going to apologize right here for my lack of know-how when it comes to computers. Alright, I followed the BSOD guides to the best of my ability. My computer's info is as follows:
    Manufacturer: Toshiba
    Model: Satellite L355D
    Type: X86-based PC
    Processor: AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-60, 2000 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s)
    BIOS Version/Date: Insyde Corp. 1.40, 3/16/2008
    SMBIOS Version: 2.4
    Installed Physical Memory: 2.00 GB
    Total Physical Memory: 1.87 GB
    Available Physical Memory: 847 MB
    Total Virtual Memory: 3.75 GB
    Available Virtual Memory: 2.32 GB
    Page File Space: 1.87 GB

So a year or so ago I had a friend wipe my computer after an unfortunate incident. He removed VISTA and installed Windows 7 Ultimate (it says version 6.1.7600 build 7600). Then I began randomly facing these bad_pool_header BSODs. They occur very randomly, usually shortly after I'd take my computer out of sleep mode. So, my friend again wiped the computer and installed Windows 7. That's when my computer forgot it had a graphics card. After another wipe I decided that was enough. At the very lease he fixed the graphics card issue. But since then I've continued experiencing these very random blue screens of death. I've got all the dumps since January, which are (hopefully) attached.

I've attempted to figure this out by reading other threads, but it's all a little too over my head. If anyone knows what's going on and can explain it to a layman that would be much appreciated!

    Welcome

It looks as if your graphics cards driver is out-dated. (older driver version from 2010)
    Code:
    Driver	c:\windows\system32\drivers\atikmdag.sys (8.1.1.882, 4.24 MB (4,450,816 bytes), 2/11/2010 1:42 AM)
Where did your friend get the copy of Windows 7 and how was it activated?
Also, I see no antivirus installed from the msinfo file or I may have missed it.
Can you name the antivirus you're using?

Also your .dmp files don't seem to be loading for me. (I've asked a friend to
see if they load for him.) We'll try to get back to you in a short while.

In that between please go ahead and post the report from this thread:

Thanks for the response. Did your friend get the .dmp files to work?I did not have an antivirus, I had gotten by just using a script blocker and common sense, though I have since downloaded Malwarebytes. I ran a full scan and found nothing. Once I post this I will be updating my graphics card driver.

My friend has assured me that it's a legitimate copy, and my system info says it's activated, but I've done the activation verification.

How did you activate this installation? Is there a Windows 7 Ultimate COA sticker attached to this computer?

Install this update, then post a new MGADIAG report:
