    BSOD after Windows critical update

    Hi to everyone.

I'm having trouble with a critical update, I keep getting BSOD after is completed and then I must restore to a previous point.

I followed the instructions for using the SD Diagnostic Tool, but when I executed the application it said there wasn't any dump file. Please let me know if the information I upload is not enough.

    Thanks in advance.

    Welcome aboard.

Follow the tutorial Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD, and upload your crash dumps at the next system crash.

If it an windows update, you may go to Control panel> Programs and features> View Installed updates in the left pane> Search for that particular update in the list> Right click on it and uninstall!

Well, I got a new BSOD today. But this time I didn't run any critical update recently.

I hope you can help me.

    Thanks

Well, let us have a look what are those things contributed to your crashes.

    Symantec Heuristics Driver :
    Code:
    fffff880`03049358 fffff880`041be2e0Unable to load image \??\C:\ProgramData\Norton\{0C55C096-0F1D-4F28-AAA2-85EF591126E7}\NIS_19.0.0.128\Definitions\BASHDefs\20121005.002\BHDrvx64.sys, Win32 error 0n2

*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for BHDrvx64.sys
     BHDrvx64+0x1372e0
    Driver Reference Table - BHDrvx64.sys

    Norton Internet Security
    Code:
    fffff880`030493b8 fffff880`047139f0Unable to load image \??\C:\Windows\system32\Drivers\SYMEVENT64x86.SYS, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for SYMEVENT64x86.SYS
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for SYMEVENT64x86.SYS
     SYMEVENT64x86+0x269f0
    Driver Reference Table - SYMEVENT64x86.SYS

    Symantec /Norton
    Code:
    fffff880`03049028 fffff880`02f3cab8Unable to load image \??\C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Symantec Shared\EENGINE\EraserUtilRebootDrv.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for EraserUtilRebootDrv.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for EraserUtilRebootDrv.sys
     EraserUtilRebootDrv+0x2ab8
    Driver Reference Table - EraserUtilRebootDrv.sys

In such a situation, we generally suggest to uninstall Norton completely from the system using Norton Remover Tool. Then install Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows, and it usually works.

Let us know your decision, and the situation after making the aforesaid change.
    best of luck.
