    Random constant BSOD POWER_STATE_DRIVER_FAILURE

    I really don't know what to put for additional details for this BSOD. It's my wife's computer. She gets this BSOD probably once or twice a day. It gets rather annoying. She's never doing anything particular and doesn't have anything plugged into it. It's an old HP laptop. I'm sure all the info is in the zip.

    Thanks Guys

    Welcome aboard.

    your dump does not show any finite reason of the crash.
    Code:
    *******************************************************************************
    *                                                                             *
    *                        Bugcheck Analysis                                    *
    *                                                                             *
    *******************************************************************************

    Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.

    In such a situation, it is better to enable Driver Verifier to monitor the drivers.

    Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

    Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.

    Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any.

    Ok. Apparently there was no BSOD in the last 24 hours. What do you need from me?
